When using new alkaline batteries, the light can be continuously illuminated for over 1,200 hours without interruption (based on lab test results). Choosing the "ON" mode allows the light to be used for approximately 4 months, while the "AUTO" mode can be used for around 15 months.

If the light does not turn on after installing the batteries, please follow these steps to troubleshoot: 1. Ensure the switch is set to "ON" or "AUTO". 2. Use new batteries and make sure the "+" and "-" terminals are aligned properly. 3. In "AUTO" mode, the light will only activate in a dark environment and require a sound to trigger it.
